Join us for a Gonzo Birthday Bash to celebrate Louisville’s Hunter S. Thompson on what would have been his 82nd birthday. Friends, fans, and special guests will gather to toast him and eat cake in his honor at the Frazier History Museum.
Food provided by Adrienne & Co. Bakery, Another Place Sandwich Shop, and Jimmy Can’t Dance. Each guest will receive a ticket for one complimentary Flying Dog Brewery beer. Other drinks are available for purchase.
The night is a collaboration between the Library Foundation and the Frazier, in what the Mayor has proclaimed the Year of Gonzo.
Freak Power, Thompson’s bid for Sheriff in Aspen, is currently on exhibit at the Frazier

GonzoFest Louisville is a literary and music festival honoring the legacy of Hunter S. Thompson. Through spoken word, art, panel discussions, live music & more, GonzoFest Louisville celebrates the life & work of HST in his hometown of Louisville, KY at the Louisville Free Public Library Main Branch. 2019 will mark the ninth year of GonzoFest Louisville.
